Dear Reader,

In view of the upcoming Jubilee of the Year 2025, the editorial section of the Dicastery for Communication together with L’Osservatore Romano have decided to give a new “look” to all our weekly editions, which are currently published once a week. A project has therefore been developed to re-envision L’Osservatore Romano in a new magazine format.

Beginning January 2025, L’Osservatore Romano will change from a weekly newspaper to a monthly magazine. The last issue of the weekly newspaper will be dated 20 December 2024, and the first issue of the monthly magazine will be January 2025.

This change requires no action on your part. Your subscription will automatically transition, uninterrupted, to the new monthly magazine at your current subscription rate and for the remainder of 2025.

The Carmel International Publishing House will continue printing a weekly edition until August 2025.
